VISITING HOURS

Zoo opening timings are given below :
* Summer (March to August) : 8.30 AM to 5.30 PM.
* Winter(September to February) : 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM.

NOTE:

* Zoo remains closed on TUESDAY.
* Best visiting hours on a day :
Morning 10.00 AM to 12.00 PM & afternoon 3.00 PM to 4.30 PM. Birds will be active during the morning hours and mammals are active towards dusk. Visitors are informed that on a hot summer day animals take rest inside their night cages or shelters provided in their enclosures to avoid excess heat.

Amenities Provided to Visitors:

Eco friendly and pollution-free battery-operated vehicles.
Cycles and E-bicycles.
QR code plaques outside every animal, enclosure to know more about the animal.
Bio-scope for imparting conservation education.
Zoo souvenir shop & Zoo help desk.
The Adequate number of shelters, benches and restrooms.
Cafeteria, Purified drinking water.
Children's play area and parking facilities.

BATTERY OPERATED VEHICLES

Pollution free visitor transport facility with Battery Operated Vehicles is available. Presently there are 15 vehicles with a capacity of 11 persons per vehicle. Slowly in phased manner it was planning to phase out 4 wheelers and increase the number of Battery Operated Vehicle services.

CAFETERIA / PURIFIED DRINKING WATER FACILITY

R.O. purified drinking water is provided at 6 different locations for the visitors at free of cost.

BIO-SCOPE

It is an education center to facilitate the visitors about the Mythological theme of SV Zoo park and also Biodiversity of Seshachalam Biosphere Reserve.
